Shikole is a first generation college graduate who chose Troy as her home in 2017. She has both rented and recently invested in a home in Lansingburgh giving her insight into different facets of Troy living. Shikole is an avid reader who founded a community book club in 2022 and actively supports the Troy Public Library through donations and volunteering. As a cybersecurity professional, Shikole thrives with data and will use those skills, as well as the project management from her MBA, to streamline how Troy City Council utilizes taxpayer dollars to improve residents quality of life.
